February Personal Planner – Free Printable

Just when we were finally getting it a groove with our evening schedule it went all nutso crazy on us again. And part of me may want to cry just a little bit.

One of the pools our team uses for practices (there are three total) was being repaired this past fall, so our boys were focused on one pool. At the start of the year Zachary was asked to move to a different practice group (more intense) and Kaleb’s group is now moving to the pool that has been repaired. Practice times are all wonky and it’s a little overwhelming to my brain, if I’m being honest.

Especially when McKenna has a new job – and well, life. I’m feeling a little attached to my van at the moment and craving quiet moments at home.

That said, I’ve been hesitant to even really plan much for the upcoming bit because putting it all down on paper is just a little hard to see (and makes my head want to explode). Rick and I are balancing back and forth, but it’s hard when what was the “ideal” in my head is shifted to a very different reality. But still I need to plan the upcoming month (or two)

If you’d like to lay out your upcoming month along with me, I have a free download of my February 2019 Personal Planner Pages – try them out this month and see how they work for you.  If you like them, grab the complete 2019/2020 Yearly Planner and get a jump on planning the next few months.

Don’t Miss The Daily To-Do List

Daily to do list free printable

My Daily To-Do List is pretty basic, but hopefully it will work for you too. There is an area to make a list of things to accomplish, household goals, appointment, meals for the day, and even a space to record exercise and water intake. Each page in the document is identical so you can print them off, cut the page in half, and have two lists. If you print them front to back, you’ll have four to-do lists and save a little paper.

Hope you all have a wonderful month!! I’d love to hear your plans!

Skip Counting Charts from 2 through 15 Printable (Updated)

* file updated 10/17/18

Our skip counting charts have been in our classroom over the years in one way or another, either as posters for our morning board routine, or more recently we have printed them out postcard size (four to a page) and on a jump ring for handy reference.

Let’s face it, sometimes multiplication facts can be a little tricky.

Why skip counting? Essentially, skip counting helps our kids learn the concept of multiplication and gives them a great foundation for grasping math facts. Once they have mastered skip counting by 3s, it is easier to grasp the concept of 3 x 4.

The skip counting charts cover the numbers from 2 up to 15. The number pages up to 12 each have a little ‘rhyme’ at the top, show how skip counting with that number works, and then skip counts up to whatever 15x that particular number would be.

The numbers 13, 14, and 15 do not have a rhyme, but each number skip counts up to the number 15 (per reader request for their Classical Conversations study).

Hope these are a help to you!

*updated October 2018 to reflect multiplication for all tables up through multiples of 15.

July 2018 Planning Pages – Free Printable for Mom

This month our homeschool planning will have to kick into overdrive. There are still a few pieces of curriculum I need to order, but top of the list for me to do this month is rest. Physically at least – my brain is doing a bunch of planning and the schoolroom is a bit of a disaster area. Stuff needs to be cleaned up and re-organized for the upcoming year.

Our swim season is now in full swing, which means our days are full of time at the pool and shuttling kids back and forth to practices, meets, and lifeguarding. What needs to be added is a little more of mom ignoring stuff happening and just relaxing with a book poolside.

We do have some camping trips planned which I am rather excited about as well. Having a several week adventure in Europe was immensely fun, but camping has a different feel to it, especially since it involves much more sitting and enjoying nature. :)

If you’d like to lay out your month along with me, I have a free download of my July 2018 Personal Planner Pages – try them out this month and see how they work for you.
