Typically I am a ‘low-mess’ momma, so this shaving cream sensory play from Wildflower Ramblings would be a bit out of my comfort zone. I have a feeling though that all sorts of little ones would find it fun – especially if you can pull out that pool once the summer weather cools down and still use it!

If you are looking for some fun hands-on art ideas for preschoolers, be sure to visit School Time Snippets. She did a book study on the artist Alexander Calder and had a great bead and pipe cleaner project to go along with the book.

Everyone has a different preschool schedule, but it is always fun to see how others plan their time with their little ones. This week Fantastic Fun and Learning shared their daily routine.

Growing Merrily shares a fun alphabet activity to use with a foam floor mat called “Help the babies find their Mamas”. They incorporated some fun sensory time along with the activity – love it!

Blocks are something that can be found in most every home. Moms Have Questions Too shares a simple but helpful learning activity that includes measuring items found around the house with blocks.
