I know this is just a silly post, but had to share this fun picture from our vacation. This sign was sitting on a table at a coffee shop that we stopped at in hopes of getting internet service.
Amazing how misplacing a few vowels can make all the difference in the world, isn’t it?

Just yesterday I had a typo involving a single little “r” which turned “we’ve got you covered” into “we’ve got your covered”… which made it look like I’d left out a word rather than adding a single letter.
Yeah. Thankfully someone pointed that out and I was able to fix it fairly quickly [smile].

amazing the difference one little letter can make. :)
Now that is both sad and funny at the same time!
That is AWESOME! I read a story one time of someone who tried to spend a $2 and the store wouldn’t take it because it’s not real.
Jolanthe,
I sent a text the other day and one of the words – a three letter word – had two letters reversed which totally changed the original message. Fortunately, it was to my husband so it was easily corrected. I wonder if they changed the sign.
Too funny! While it’s certainly sad to see a mistake like that (seriously…how many people did that go through before it was finally setting on a table? No one caught it or questioned it, lol?!), it still makes me giggle. :) Thanks for sharing!

Mom to a 6 year old boy who would rather eat brussel sprouts (Ack!) and take a bath (Gasp!), than do homeschool spelling.
Hey, how do you know there wasn’t a movie being filmed nearby, or a theatre group taking a break, and the table really WAS reserved for the costumers??? ;-)))
pretty sure it was a spelling error they had no idea about, since it was
at a coffee shop in Mexico. Although there were some guys in dressed up
in Mayan costumes around the corner… :)
hehe that is a riot!!
LOL!
That truly hurts the brain..lol!
=p I’m sure they’re all over the place. http://funnycrave.com/25-hilariously-misspelled-signs/19128/ We have a spelling mistake on a sign in our library parking lot.
I love picturing a place where only costumers are allowed. Ha!
