How many of you are getting ready to start up your school time? Here the classroom is getting straightened up, plans are in the works, and piles are accumulating everywhere. (Hopefully that’s not just me!).
We’d love to see what fun things have been going on with your learning, so leave a link and share! Be sure to visit another person linking up as well and share the love! Here are a few ideas linking up from last week.

Working on letter identification would be even more fun with a squirt gun on hand! Mom Inspired Life shares a Squirt the Letter game to help your younger child work on his uppercase or lowercase letters.

Need a break from the heat? Have some fun with an Olaf Snow Day in Summer. Sunshine and Hurricanes shares their ‘winter’ play day – Frozen style.

Fine motor skills are so important to work on during the preschool years! I LOVE this simple flower cutting activity that Dabbling Momma shares. Not only is it practical, it adds a little beauty to the house too!

If you are feeling crafty, you can make your own fabric alphabet. This post from All About Preschool has some great templates to use when putting your own set together. What a fun and hands-on idea to learn letters!

Get your classroom ready for the new year with these colorful (and free) pocket chart calendar pieces for the month of August. There are additional free sets for every month of the year linked within the post – so be sure to pin it for later!
Follow the PreK and Kindergarten Community Pinterest Board

Each week I am pinning many of your links onto the Preschool and Kindergarten Community Pinterest Board. I’m a visual person, so having pictures to help me remember posts is super helpful. Be sure to jump over and follow the board – and find some fun ideas at the same time!
