I never thought I’d hear myself say “let’s do some school in the summer” but those words have slipped out of my mouth and the kids are all game for it. We’re planning on focusing more on science over the summer months since the bugs are crawling everywhere and the weather tends to cooperate more with us. It’s most definitely the time to get outside and enjoy so many different aspects of nature! And when the weather gets too hot ~ it will be a great time to do experiments together and learn in a different way.

In our school time this would be great since some of our family lives near a wind farm and we’ve been able to see the turbines up close.

The Physics Discovery kit include materials to build 12 models and help children learn about forces and simple machines ~ demonstrating concepts like levers, pulleys, centrifugal forces and gears.
