The Olympics snuck up on me, so this next week we’ll have a little fun with a few activities. If you haven’t planned anything yet, here are a few ideas to get you going.

This ice skating diorama from Spell Outloud is one of the many fun ideas that she is working on with her girls to celebrate the Olympics. Her edible Olympic medals are one of the best ideas!

This colorful craft from Happy Hooligans is super simple and easy to pull together with little preparation. Check out Happy Hooligans for the Olympic Ring Art project.

Chalk pastels are one of our favorite art mediums, and Tricia from Hodge Podge shares Winter Olympic Chalk Pastels for all ages. You can find a free Olympic Ring Tutorial here.

Winter Olympics Unit 007

Every Star is Different shares a variety of Montessori activities that you can work on with your kids.

This Olympic flag craft from Crystals Tiny Treasures is another fun and simple activity to celebrate the beginning of the games.

Lego Ring Sorting

This Lego Ring Sorting activity from Toddler Approved is a great way to add in some color work while learning about the Olympics.

If you run a few Olympic trials at your home, be sure to make some of these Salt Dough Olympic Medals from The Imagination Tree. Your kids will love them!
