This past week we had made some crafts, including firecracker tie-dye tshirtsFirecracker tshirt boys to celebrate the 4th of July. Might I just say that working on a tie-dye project with the kids  – not on my list of things to do anytime soon {hello, blue hands!!}.

The overall colors might have turned out brighter if we used more than one bottle of dye for four tshirts, but that would all probably mean my hands would also be stained for weeks to come. STILL – they turned out cute and the kids love them, so all is well!

The following ideas are from readers linking up last week – and there are some fun ones to share. If you see your post featured, be sure to grab one of the buttons below for your sidebar.

Selena from Look! We’re Learning! shares a fun sight word stomp game that she used with her son to practice CVC words.

Casual Homeschool let her son direct their play activities and he requested an animal bath time. It’s something simple and sweet that anyone can do at home.

Mama to 5 Blessings shared some COOL toilet paper tube art that she did with her kids. This would be great for prek ages and up {I know my older kids would love this too!}. Plus, we all have toilet paper rolls we can use for this!

If you are doing a human body unit, or just learning about the eyes, you need to check out this fun, hands-on eyeball activity from Life with Moore Babies. They worked on an optometrist unit and have some other fun ideas as well.

To get little ones moving, you could always set up a learner rider obstacle course similar to the one Teaching Little Ones at Home set us for her kids.

There were so many other great ideas linked up last week as well, so be sure to visit some of the ladies linking up {both this week and last!}.
