A little book can be a big part of a fun week! Westword Blog used The Carrot Seed and tied in some great learning activities – cooking, science, art and more.

Hands on as We Grow made a fun dandelion counting race (another great way to get those weeds picked – wink).  She made grids with chalk outside and the kids raced to fill them up (each space with the same number of dandelions as their age).  Great idea!

Dinosaur Fun!

Dancing in the Rain took a field trip to see the Jurassic Coast where they found a dinosaur egg from the sea and also visited a nature reserve. They also had some painting fun at home!
