Moments to Remember was developed as a simple way to look back on our week as homeschoolers and find photos that encompass the memories we want to remember.

The week may have been tough, there may have been more bumps than smiles, but in the end these are the moments that keep us going, the ones we need to remember.

Last week a friend of mine {from the time I was five years old}, was driving through our area on her way home and stopped in for the night to visit. Although she was here for just a brief time, she brought along a children’s book that she recently wrote called Drip! and sat down to read it to our kids.

Drip by Jan Butler

Best part for them was that it was a bedtime story, so we didn’t even have to leave our house to hear it. Now that’s what I call a fabulous private book reading!

The kids have been reading the book and showing it to their friends all week, loving that they KNOW the person who wrote it and also that it is a true story {and very funny when you hear her read it}.  It’s also been fun watching Laurianna get more excited about writing and publishing her own book someday ~ and that is wonderful too!

I am excited about linking up but can’t find the link up location.  This linky list is already closed and Carisa’s blog states to link up here unless I am mistaken.  Could you please tell me where the link up is this week?  Thanks a bunch.
