In May 2012, I had the amazing privilege of traveling with a group of bloggers to see the work of Compassion International in Tanzania, Africa. During our time there, we visited centers that Compassion works with and met families impacted because their child is sponsored through Compassion.
I thought I knew a lot about Compassion International before I went. I was wrong. And although I knew it would change me in some ways, I truly wasn’t prepared for how God worked on my heart.
To say it was life-changing would truly be an understatement.
Would you read along and listen to the stories of HOPE in the midst of poverty?
Before the Trip…
In Africa…
Day 1: Sweet Songs of Praise
Day 2: Hope and Vision
Day 2: A Little Child Shall Lead Them
Day 3: The Difference a Gift Can Make
Day 4: In Which I Cry Again

Day 6: The Many Facets of Tanzania
Back Home and Processing…

Compassion ministers to children in twenty-six countries around the world ~ meeting their physical, social and emotional, cognitive and spiritual needs.
While there is a hope for a child’s physical future in the first three, the last one provides an eternal hope that cannot be matched ~ please sponsor a child today!
