Summer fun is kicking into full gear around our house. We’re headed to the beach this next week and have been trying to stay cool in the hot temps the last few days. Here are a few fun activities to do work on while avoiding that summer heat – and you’ll learn a few things too!

Thanks so much to the ladies linking up and sharing last week!

geoboard constellations

If you want to learn a little about the night sky, check out this geoboard constellation activity from School Time Snippets. With all of the loom band elastics that we have around our house, this might be a fun summer activity to do together!

arthropods unit

The Pinay Homeschooler is starting to learn about arthropods. Not sure what an arthropod is?? Be sure to visit her site and see the fun activities she has planned and find out!

Birdseed abounds at our house and this sprouting birdseed activity from Stir the Wonder would be an easy summer activity for your little ones!
